    I really enjoyed doing this painting. It was my first adult paint by numbers. I did run out of #2 and #4 though. I had to buy some craft paint at Hobby Lobby to finish. I wish the “purple” had actually been purple like the description picture shows, it all looks black on my painting. Other reviews show purple so I guess it’s hit or miss if they send the correct colors. 🙁
    Took me 46 hours to complete total over a few weeks. Next one is the Paris street scene.

    The order came in a reasonable amount of time. Nicely packaged, with the paint, paint key and a color picture to refer back to.
    I was fortunate to visit London earlier this year, so when I saw the painting I had to get it. It was as fun to paint as was my visit. As I added each color to the canvas, London came to life.

    Very time consuming some sections are no bigger than my pinky nail but it is relaxing. The paints are a bit lumpy I just mixed in some water to smooth it out.

    I have found the B E S T Hobby! I love this concept. Very clever and rewarding. I give my paintings as loved gifts to my family & friends and look forward to picking up my brush. They are puzzles and paintings with a wonderful result. My tip with some thick paint colours is to add a little water. I worked this out after I struggled a little with my first one. Perhaps some instructions would be helpful

    I was amazed and how easy yet fun this was for me. The free paintings are a little smaller which is great for starting out. The sky looks a little different from the picture but its hard to get all the details in a paint by number unless you blend.

The only thing I was disappointed about was that the canvas had some ripples in it, but hopefully once I stretch it out over the frame it won’t be as noticeable.     Not sure if I’ll continue with this one. This is with 2 coats of paint on most of the spaces, I can still clearly see the lines and numbers. I’m not sure if this is typical, or if my paints are bad, or what. Maybe it’s just because it’s lighter colors? I guess I was expecting better coverage. Is it normal to take several coats of paint? The photos are in natural light and no filters. Kind of bummed, this was my first paint by numbers! 🙁

    I’m about half way done and it’s looking amazing! I did one of me and my brothers for my mom about 20 years ago and I’m doing a new one from a newer pic of us standing in the same spots. My only complaint is you can’t read some of the numbers on the really tiny spaces. I would recommend you guys send a larger paper copy where the numbers are more visible. Other than that, I’m very pleased!

    doing the tower was very enjoyable, but, always a but, many details are left out. Beneath the tower there are small factories in the distance, that’s why the smoke stackes. I’m finding more and more swirls are put in to replace,backround things that enhance the over all picture. The same with other paintings as well. I look at this lack of detail as a challange and work harder on the painting.

    The lighter colors (especially the yellows and oranges of the sunflowers) were very thin and had to be given several layers to cover the lines and numbers, but overall it’s a beautiful picture with great colors and contrast!

    This one was my first PBN. I enjoyed the process but I wouldn’t recommend this particular image for beginners. I say this because I’ve gone on to do 2 more PBN and this one was definitely more on the “detailed” side. That being said, it’s definitely doable and I have learned that patience is important no matter which image you choose!
